Nabholz Construction - Olathe, KS
Nabholz Construction has been awarded a 2 Green Globes certification through the Green Building Institute’s Green Globes rating system for their office in Olathe, Kansas. Green Globes certified buildings are intended to use less energy, conserve water resources, emit fewer pollutants and provide a healthier indoor environment for occupants. JA developed an open office environment including a open kitchen area for informal gatherings throughout the day interjected with vibrant colors and industrial motifs. The building is the first to be certified in the state of Kansas.
Fort Sill - Lawton, OK
JUNK Architects is currently completing a design for the new chapel at Ft Sill in Lawton Oklahoma. The replacement chapel has been a dream of the base chaplain since the late 1980's, according to Deputy Command Chaplain Brent Nelson. The new chapel is a multi denominational facility with multiple worship spaces designed to meet the needs of the many faiths representing at Ft Sill.
Truman Medical Center - Kansas City, MO
JUNK Architects, with team members Canon Design and Burns & McDonnell, has been awarded to develop a new comprehensive Master Plan for Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
Oklahoma City VA Medial Center - Oklahoma City, OK
JUNK Architects has recently completed the design phase for the new Cardiology and Radiology Expansion at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. JA teamed with an architectural firm in Oklahoma City as the Design Architect for the project, providing programing and space planning services.
